Exam Format
The AP Chemistry exam is 3 hours and 15 minutes long and consists of two sections:
- Section I: Multiple Choice - 60 questions | 1 hour 30 minutes | 50% of score
- Section II: Free Response - 7 questions | 1 hour 45 minutes | 50% of score
Free Response includes 3 long questions (10 points each) and 4 short questions (4 points each).
